Poem Revision

Timmy is a sophisticated little boy

Who refuses to play with others of his age

And if you ask him why?

He’ll answer you

“That their behaviours are an outrage!”

But a boy cannot grow up without any youthful joy

Especially when “Mr.Grey” is his only toy

So Mr. and Mrs. Tipton ask their little Timmy

What he would like to play

Though little do we know

Our Timmy wouldn’t say

Despite how much Mr. and the Mrs. try

Their eventual outcome is some endless sigh

While they panic, while they woe

They notice Timmy tipping on his toe

The Mrs. Shouted, “He’s playing ! He’s playing!”

They both gazed, “But what is Timmy doing?”

Tipped their head, there they see

Rockets! Spaceships! Under the sea!

The Tiptons begin to join in on the blast

Cowboys! Pirates ! In the wild, willy west!

They smile at him, he smiles back

The Tipton’s fears have started to pack

Seeing Timmy with his big, big smile before bed

Tucked aside with his loyal companion Mr.Grey

With a little frankenstein stitch sitting on its head.

Though, nothing will stop them from a wonderful play

Timmy refuses to play with other children in his age group. He told everyone who ask him why not, that the other kids' are too immature for him. The narrator suggested that a boy should not grow up without any kid-like playful memories, and informed the audience that "Mr.Grey" is Timmy's only toy. Timmy's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tipton, begin to question about their child's behaviour and realise Timmy would not communicate with them at all. Eventually driving Mr. and Mrs. Tipton mad and develop desperation towards Timmy's behaviour. In pain and sadness, Mr. and Mrs. Tipton hugged their son and watches him stood there in the living room tipping on his toe with his stuff toy Mr.Grey. It is till then Mr. and Mrs. Tipton carefully observe what their son's really doing and suddenly begin to make connections and imagine what Timmy's seeing according to his actions. Images of Rockets, Spaceships started to hover across the ocean floor, Mr. and Mrs. Tipton got into position and pulled out their water gun blasting through in the wild west scenery dressed up as pirates and cowboys. They played and had fun, Mr. and Mrs. Tipton smiled at Timmy, Timmy smiles back. And their biggest fear of Timmy's behaviour have been understand.

Log Line

A boy refuses to play with others. His parents begin to worry eventually being desperate towards his "behaviour". Then it is through love that Timmy begins to open up, and observation that they started to understand what is going on in Timmy's mind.

Project Description

The exact title for this film has not yet been decided, it will be called "Project Timmy Tipton" for now.

Project Timmy Tipton is an animation short film, estimate to be two to two and a half minutes in length. It has no dialogue and solely relies on a monologue preformed by an narrator. The entire narration is an original piece of rhyming poem intended to be presented as a child's bed time story.

The visual of the story will incorporate both 2D hand drawn illustration / animation hybrid with 3D computer animation to mimic a real life pop-up book, but in a more surreal book form.

The Poem contains playful rhyme scheme and up-down rhythm that are suitable for the kids to enjoy while as well having a subliminal message intended for mature viewers to consider.

Overall the project will be a heartwarming, fun, "bedtime-story", educational, and delighted to share with all age range of audience.
